Ice Would Be Nice

It's 100 degrees outside . . . way too hot for June in Kansas, and the next few days show no relief in sight. Some "high pressure dome settling over the plains" the weatherman says. Well, I've got my own weather to enjoy (take that, Mr. Heat Miser!):

Rainy Morning

When the morning comes with pouring rain, it's time to grab the camera and go for a walk!

Zoology

Alright, honestly, next to squirrels are meerkats not the funniest creatures on earth?

Now of course this is a chipmunk, but apparently a dangerous one. Notice the heavy gauge steel behind him at this zoo.

This is my friend Darren teasing the freshly escaped chipmunk (see above photo). Unfortunately, Darren was badly mauled and the chipmunk ran off with the Slurpee and the Zune.

What do marmosets eat? Marmalade?

Okay, maybe llamas are funnier than meerkats . . .
