Futbol, Wet And Dry

Running, kicking and occasionally scoring, the game known as "soccer" or "futbol" is nearly ubiquitous wherever you go on this planet. Below are photographs of kids in Haiti playing futbol in a downpour and on a dusty, hot, field scratched in the dirt.

Notice the "poofs" of dust below this boy's feet as he leaps.

Although excruciatingly poor, there is joy on the face of a boy at play.
